Hello,

The tube on my rear window sprayer came off. It was still spraying ok, just on the wrong side of the window!
I took out the four screws on the boot fitting but it still seemed fairly secure and I didn't want to force anything. I looked at Nige's repair guide and it all sounds simple - is it just a question of levering the panel off? I'm always worried about breaking some plastic catch.

Once I get it off, hopefully I can find out what happened to all the water :p

If you are talking about the plastic casing on the boot lid then yes it takes a bit of force to get it off once the screws are out, its those annoying type of push in plastic screws that hold it on.

good luck!

Thanks, was pretty much what I expected, but just wanted to check.

Re: Re: Re: Rear window sprayer

Just another tip: dont just lever the whole thing out, once you manage to pull the ones around the edge out it helps to get your hand in behind the plastic and push from there as well if that makes sense?

Yeah, spot on Gordon. Start at an edge then as soon as you can get your hand inbetween the panel and the hatch slid it up then scrunch your hand up to lever the plastic clips out. Dont worry if you break the panel - it will still be cheaper than Fiat doing it :)
