General rear wheel bearing

i have bought bearings for rear wheels and they have a plastic ring where the abs toothed ring is .should i take this ring off or not,any reply is welcome

Check the existing ABS sensor ring carefully, due to some sort of EM field the ring can have the appearance of being toothed but the 'teeth' are just dust.
Gentle rub should suffice.
