I have the standard blue Fiat Punto interior with the bench style rear seats, tomorrow I am going to pick up some grey and black Abarth seats. The rear seats have the split in them so I can have one down and two up, or whatever they do. Now I've had the old rear seats out today and I can't seem to see where the split part will attach to the car as the old seats just bolted into the side and the sitting bit which folds forward had two bolts at the front part. Does anyone have any idea how it will fit or will I need to fashion my own fittings to make it work?

Aw damn do you have any idea what they look like or if they'll bolt in, i had a look at the section and i can't see any unused bolt holes, will i need to drill in the car to make fit?

they should just bolt into the buckle holes dont it?

Remember to use a good goose of spray before removal

on some models the bolt holes aint there for bracket for split seats.

if youve got split base it has middle bracket,
full base seat, no bracket,

the top back seat, you remove middle lap belt and bolt the mk2b or sporting/hgt seat bracket in with it,

you can see the bracket on this pic,

this is mk2b active interior, ive been trying to give away (failed :( )

Got the seats Yesterday and I spent all today putting them on, most of the time was spent on the new door cards. The bracket came with the seats thankfully and once I'd took the old seats out I discovered that the holes were already there and were just covered over by black plugs therefore all I had to do was find screws that fitted these holes and put the back part of the seats bolted down with the seatbelt fittings. This is another case of Fiat not adding the screws to save the extra 50p. I'm extremely pleased with my new seats, hopefully I'll upload pictures tomorrow :D
