Rear light clusters

I have had my bravo now for around 9 months and realised yesterday that the left rear cluster with the reversing light has normal glass covering it, and the right side with the fog light has slightly tinted/smoked glass.

So I got hold of the guy I bought the car from and he said neither have ever been replaced in the 4-5 years he had it and was completely baffled. He had never noticed either.

Does anyone else have the same on their car out of curiosity? It's quite hard to notice unless you pay some time staring at them and I never have (as beautiful as the rear clusters are on the bravo).

What I want to know, as weird as it sounds, is could this be standard for some bizarre reason?

If you can get clear and tinted ones, I need to find me a tinted one to go on the left side.

I think they were a little more tinted on the MKII bravo's.
Sounds like they had a pick n mix in the factory the day they made yours. 1998/9 model by any chance?

Mine look the same to me.

Tinted, know they are when the light are on.

How hard is it to get the whole cluster out? I want them both tinted! Need to have a dig around at the scrappies!

Also. A little OT but tried to order a marea elx headlight from sel-imperial yetsterday and there are none in stock and the guy didnt give me a clue as to when they might get some.

I just need the RH one.

For the marea lights, try scrappys and ebay.

I bought a 1 from ebay when i smashed one of mine, and its tinted, whereas my car is also 1996.
The tinted one on mine is on the left, with the reversing light.

Thanks for the help sven. Wasn't making myself too clear. I mean replace the whole light unit rather than getting at the lights themselves. I want them both tinted so i'm guessing i need to replace the whole thing.
