Grande Punto Rear door catch

Hello.
I own a Punto 1.2 registered 2007 and have just noticed a slight difficulty opening the N/S/R door from the outside. Sometimes I need to lift the handle a couple of time to make the catch connect (Highlighted by my young grand daughter).
If I take off the door card to expose the mechanism is there an adjustment, or is it just wear and tear.
