been told i may need the above part as some sort of bushes are away and fiat don't supply bushes for the item that has play in it (sorry for not remembering what parts the mechanic was talking about) anyway he is replacing both springs and shocks as the springs had snapped and had the shocks anyway he says when that is done it might sit better and the play wont be as noticable so hopefully will pass its mot if not a new cross member will be needed any advice or idea of price for part would be helpfull

further to my post have been told its the "rear axle mounting bushes" that maybe needing replaced and that no kit is available dealer part only £250.00 approx(n) any thoughts would be helpful and thanks hellcat for the info found some interesting kits for fiats!!!(y)

scrapyard- £15 if you remove it yourself.
just try to find the youngest low milage one you cant to get it off, and check the rubber is in good condition allowing no play.

If its the trailing arm bushes/bearings, replacements kits are available. Shop4Parts have them. Not expensive.
