General Re-Badging

Just a quick question really. Whereas some prefer the GP debadged on the back i prefer it with the badge. However i didn't really have a say in the matter as the previous owner of my car debadged the boot and smoothed it over.

I'm wondering whether i can just buy a badge and put it on the back or will it need the indent that was smoothed over, if that makes any sense. And if i do need the indent back, then would it be expensive, or even possible to have done?

Im sure you could just stick a badge on without an indent and it would look ok, but im not sure if the badge has some sort of pins on the back maybe someone who has debadged can help

I debadged mine last week and it was just basically really sticky stickers... Should just be able to buy one (although I wouldn't have a clue where from) and I imagine they would just have the sticky bits on the back.. Mine didn't have any indents... Just dirty.. See below!

To my knolage it has a bolt and to pins as I tried to take that one of to smooth out but gave up after seeing it lol

There isn't a bolt holding it on, just tape and two locating pins that snap off when you remove it.

Mine has a nut holding it in place not a bolt take the back plastic of the inner boot it's sat there think it all depends on what age gp it is

I changed my badges over this morning to the newer red badges. Mine definitely only had 2 locating pins and was stuck of with double sided tape.

I am sure some of the thin twin stick would keep a badge on the back

Thanks for the replies. I'm just worried that without an indent, that the badge will stick out a bit too far and look silly
