now im told i need a code at a cost of 28 plus vat, this car is becoming nightmare, any ideas

you will get a standard radio with code for less than that off ebay,

failing that just fit an aftermarket headunit, with the sterio surround

yer exactly,ebay it of you want another standard radio.But tbh id buy an aftermarket cd player,can pick them up for £20

Goto a car audio shop for a radio decode, not halfords or motorworld. Look in Yellow pages.
