Radio/cd problems

Hi all,

I tried installing a new cd player the other day and after plugging in all connections, it was working. I then put it flush with mounting unit and it wouldnt work. Put the old standard radio back in and now that wont work either..

Any ideas??

Probably trapped a wire and blew the fuse...

I would remove the radio, check all the wires are ok, change the fuse and you should be ok...

I changed the fuse in the fuse box and the central locking is now working(which stopped when i was installing radio) but radio still not working. Do I have to change the fuse in the actual radio as well..

Thanks for help lads, much apprectiated! All works now.
One moe question, any1 know what extra cable that was in standard radio is for?? My guess is to bypass engine to use radio??

What colour is it, most have an extra wire for the dimming...

Its a yellowish connector block that was fitted to the far side of the fiat radio. Have nowhere to put it in the cd player!

I lie, just checked and its yellow, green and blue connector...
