radiator fan trouble

hi my girl Friend has a punto s when she turns on the ignition
the fan comes on don't know if this should happen as i don't have one
it seams to run all the time, till you stop the engine, also i don't see any temperature gauge in here car only a temp symbol is this the norm or what would you guys advise and what to look for.

Shouldn't happen. You don't say which Punto, but I'd look for frayed cable or some **** "fixing" it to run permAnently (usually a stupid attempt to mask an overheating issue). Should be in the Punto section.

May be Temperature sensor (radiator fan) is broken ?
Or Wiring fastening
