After my trip around Europe last year, some of you may remember that the expansion tank was leaking, and that in desperation during the trip, I put some radiator leak repair fluid (gunk) in it.
Well, as soon as I got back I bought a replacement, and TBH it almost hasn't lost a drop since being back, (apart from about an egg cup full) which I just topped up with antifreeze. I still don't know where it was leaking from, and should probably get a water pump.
So the replacement is still sitting on the shelf.
Update: Also, earlier this year, I went halfway across France (Saint-Bonnet-Elvert), and took it with me just in case
