The trick seems to be (Rallycinq will confirm or not!), buy an ECU and immobiliser box with the red key from one car. Fit these. Hang the red key from the immobiliser transponder loop (the funny braided wire) and use your old keys and locks.
This means your immobiliser is effectively disabled, so fit an alarm with one.
the problem is i need an ecu. ive found 1 on ebay 4 £52 inc p/p but they only have the 1 blue key.
it includes the 3 locks (2 door and boot) the ecu the ignition barol ant imobilizer box with that wire bit.
Why not talk to McCrich (he of the chips -- check spelling). That way you can get an ECU, keep the old locks, and a performance hike! Changing locks can be a PITA.
