quick question - window

Just a quick question...
Should the passenger electric window have a one touch setting? Or is it just the drivers side.
(mk2 SX bravo)

Is there anyway to solve the slow passenger side window thing
its only slow when using the drivers side controls for the passenger window but not when using the passenger side
just wondering if i can fix this anyway or should it be a warranty issue?

The usual response to slow windows is the motor. But seeing as it works fine from passenger side controls, I'm stumped

Mine's exactly the same passenger window is fine when using passenger control, but crawls up when using driver side, crazy

on mine passenger side button=slow
drivers side (passenger)=slow
drivers side button=slow

I don't have that on my 1998 1.6 SX.

Passenger window slow from day 1.

hmmm, interesting stuff, i must check if mine is just sluggish from the drivers side or both, I just assumed it was the motor but maybe not

I'm sure I heard from somewhere (prob here) that it had something to do with the thickness of the wire to the motors from the engine.

Something like that, it is longer to the passenger window than the drivers, from the source. Therefore Fiat should have used thicker wire for the passenger side. To make both windows move at the same speed!

I'm sure I've just confused myself!!!

The drivers window is still slow n shite though!

Somebody else may have an idea.

It is a strange problem, the motor wire for each window only comes from one place - the control box above the glove box. My passenger window is slow from either side (if the driver's side switch works!)

The one-touch situation. The drivers side is one-touch up AND down, but the passenger side is only one-touch down.

BTW Mine is mk2 HLX
