well the drivers side headlamp has totally smashed on bravo

can get a replacment lamp
as no one will sell me just the glass seaprately

"there is broken clip on side closest to grill but he will take £15 for it"

is this worth it???

can i just take the glass and replace it on my current one?

please advise
thanks

The glass is bonded on, easiest to get a second hand unit from a breakers.

broken clip on what? one of the clips over the glass an plastic, or the locating nub that goes into the wing? or the bit that the bolt goes through? if its one of the latter, forget it, bu if its one of the clips that look like they hold the glass onto the plastic, well its glued anyway, so its not gonna fall apart...

I have bravo headlamps available. I can't remember which on mine has a small crack in the glass. But it passed an MOT. I can check which is which if you want and it can be yours for a very reasonable price ??

i need the drivers side if you can mate
awaiting your reply please...

well here is a pic if it helps

seller says

"As discussed. Pic of head light. As you can see, the small bit of plastic that the bolt would go through has come away. I still recon this could easily be glued with strong glue.

The rest of the unit comes complete with bulbs clips and connections for lights. Glass is unmarked."

will this be ok???

That is fixable ACID.

Get some glue and a plastic milk bottle, then cut the milk bottle to create reinforced strips, glue the joint with proper super glue not this cheap UHU and then glue the strips between the joint, to hold it.

You may need to be careful fitting the screw back in.

I've glued my old headlight, in the exact same place. NEver reinforced, but its held on solid, and i used crap UHU.

Anyway its your money,

Joske

Give it a try like Joske said. Once you have attempted to repair it give it a bit of a stress test and you will know the answer.

The headlight isn't going to get much of a hardtime so if it feels strong i'd use it once you have fixed it.

My offer is still open but if you can fix it for free then go for it.

decided to puchase the one from marko
