Dear Forum,

Today I found out that the upholstery (fire resistant?) on the bulkhead is worn and a little wet (after quite a lot of rain) and that the compartment just in front of the front window (called 'parafan' in Dutch I suppose?) needs a thorough cleaning.

My first question is whether it is possible to replace that upholstery and if yes, is there a how-to on this forum?

And my second question is: how do I clean that compartment just underneath the front window? It is so narrow that for me (and I am not even that big) it is not possible to reach for every corner and spot in that compartment without breaking things ..... anyone some tips and tricks?

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

Aad

Search on here for duck bills

I just pull the rubber duck bills out and carefully jet wash

Don't unclip the plastic bit, the clips will break

The easiest way to replace the carpet is second hand but at a minimum of 13 years funding one in good condition might not be easy

Soundproofing dries out fine

I cover up any worn carpet with a decent foot well car mats
