This is solely to get a good idea what others think. Now modding a car, any car, is entirely what 'you' the owner want to do with it to make it unique to yourself. I know this. Just thought i'd gather some opinions on this which just came to mind having flicked through eBay for vinyl stickers, to replace those i had to remove during tinting my windows.

Transformer 'badge' to sit where the 'FIAT' ones sit on both front and rear. Was just an idea, but i was curious what people think to this?

Does anyone know if they would be easy to attatch to where the FIAT badges sit as standard. As i know the rear one sits in a sunkern recess

I say why not, (I have VW badges on mine after all)

You could just pop out the centres of your badges, wrap that in black vinyl or something (99p for A4 sheet on eBay)

Then place a vinyl transformer badge over that then restick to the car,

That way if you change your mind just peel it all back off.....

other people will purely say no, im also on that boat, if it was a camaero ss then fair enough lol, it would be hassle, would have to get the boot smoothed just to put it on = £££ save the money for something else like wheels and springs I would say (y)

it doesn't transform so why put a badge of it on. just keep fiat badges or get the boot smoothed and a badgeless grille (y)

If i could afford to smooth the rear recess and respray i would, just leaving the classy punto sign as on its own i think it would look amazing.

I'm not at all techy, and anything DIY on my car i'm scared s**tless to even begin thinking about haha. I like simple stuff. If i could do this though it sounds a good idea.

The car is already dropped on Eibachs, and is running on 17" Team Dynamics Monza Redlines. As mentioned, would love to get the rear recess smoothed out, but can't warrant the cost, and too scared to attempt it myself. Out of curiosity, how do-able a DIY job is it to smooth it out for someone too scared to vinyl wrap the front grill :p Haha!

I've seen them on a Cinq so yeah, go for it, if you want to do it then what the hell should it matter what us sadsacks think? :D

I wouldnt say sadsacks at all :slayer: I don't know if i'm truely tempted to try this, was just an idea that popped into my head whilst scouting around for JDM stickers :p

I think the rakes idea was excellent. Especially if you can get the heat activated(??) transformer stickers so they are black till you touch them and then you see the hologram. I think that could be cool especially if your car is black.

My mates grande has a de badged grill. And he bought the car with a debadged back end. Smoothed of course. And he rocks a deceptacon emblem on the back and tbh it looks really good! I'll get a pic next time were out and about together!

not sure if you can get the heat stickers i just remember when i was a kid and playing with the toys when you stransformed then into the car or the truck or plane etc the sticke was just black until you put your finger on it then you could see the transformer logo. that would look cool.

Awesome haha, love it!

@BenYoung, don't suppose your local ish to Coventry eh? Would love to see it in person too, but a picture would be just as insightfull.

@GymJunkie, would you mind briefly listing the steps required to doing this work yourself? As the painting side isnt a problem, as my mate is a trained car sprayer by trade, and has said numerous times to me that he would only charge me the cost of the paint - bonus! I'm just to freakin' scared to attempt any modifications requiring paintwork myself.
