Technical punto sporting wont start

Hi alll i have a mark 1 punto sporting which wont starts basically i let my sis in law borrow the car she ran it out of fuel iv since put in 3 petrol cans iv had this problem before and when i tried to bump the car it fired however this time i tried and no joy iv got spark and fuel pump is working can. Any1 shed some lkight on the situation for me? Thanks

Clogged fuel filter (under the car on Mk1s)?

turn ignition on wait till put primes, turn off, repeat 3-4 times before cranking

Could it be a ruptured fuel tank? Or the battery, in that case? Seeing as it sparks and fuel pump is working.
