Punto (Mk2/2b) Punto Speedo Query

Hiya new to this site and was hoping someone could help with a query. I have a 53 reg punto and suddenly the speedo has stopped working. Any ideas please?

Where more punto' boffins can try and help

Few questions tho
Do you have abs or No abs?
If you have ABS - is the light on?
If you dont have abs - is the Red steering light on? or does steering feel odd compared to normal?


Any recent work carried out? Gearbox ? Clutch? exhaust?

Also Do you have the mk2 Punto (long thin head lights)
or the mk2b l- which has Wider at the edge lights?
1.2 8v? (most common)
