Hi I have been trying to sort out my overheating problem. I removed the thermostat today and gave it a clean. replaced it and the car still overheats can any one advise on the next step as the thermostat is working but the rad is cold,and has pleanty of water there are no leaks to be sean.

a lock in the radiator, bleed the system out & it should be fine.

Ah thats the question innit..should have done what dave said or replaced it never clean it and hope for the best.. welcome to the forum by the way..

one word of warning if the car keeps overheating, your head gasket will go. so get it sorted quickly or stop driving it.
