punto grande noisy fan

Hi new to this so forgive any errors.My puntos heater recently got very noisy no probs I thought under warranty.Back to the dealers only to be informed that they had to clear leaf debris,incurring a charge of £50.My question is is it possible for leaf debris to get through pollen filters grills etc to clog the fan?Appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

Yes its possible, and happens, the pollen filter is not on the vacuum side of the heater fan, its on the pressure side, so any contaminants are stopped going into the cabin but not into the heater itself.
