Technical Punto 1.3 Multijet Engine Coolant temperature sensor

I'm querying what appears to be high coolant temperature - where is the Coolant Temperature sensor located in case of replacement?

If faulty I have read that this may give a P0101 error (as per attachment) which is what I am getting on my Code reader as per previous thread 4 days ago (2004 Fiat 1.3 Multijet Code P0101).

I query the temperature as I have just been on a 20 minute journey and touched the coolant pipe and blimey was it hot. My Astra doesn't get this hot - is it normal to be that hot?

Whats the temperature gauge reading on the car...you will find that anything above 60degreesC will be uncomfortable to hold.
