Hi everyone, I have a 2004 camper on Ducato X244 2.8Jtd.
If I put my Obd2 ObdLink Lx reader in the camper's Obd2 socket with any app I use, the data is wrong.
For example, with the engine idling it gives me 4,000 rpm and more.
Probably the pinning is different. Is there an adapter to put between the socket and the reader that solves this conflict?
Or can I do something else?
Thanks

With obdlink products there 2 apps available free the obdlink ap (android and ios) and obdwiz
other apps available free are torque and alfAOBD (ANDROID). these will help decide if you have a comms problem. Alfaobd is better suited to fiats. To access the other ecus green and red adaptors are required (specificaly for 244 2.8jtd other models need different adaptors).
just read advice from https://multiecuscan.net/VehicleSupportCheck.aspx
or Multiecuscan REGISTERED license + KKL interface + GREEN and RED adapter cables (A1 and A2

So there may be a conflict with using a modern BT device and the reccomendation of KKL. I dont know. The KKL methodology was initialy used by VW and no longer used on more modern cars.

Is this a physical interface problem? Most readers will expect to communicate via the BCM,
The x244 does not have a BCM, so communication must be direct with the engine ECU, or Airbag, ABS etc.
x244 OBDII port connection details attached.

PS Location is near Selby N. Yorks, so not really near Northampton.
