Problem with boot an 02 plate Stilo

Hi there.Can any one help.I just bought an 02 plate stilo from auction and i opened the boot and when i try to close it now it won't catch to close. Its the electronic mechanism.There are no noises coming from it when i press boot handle.I have a vectra with same style boot and when u press the button to open theres a mechanical sound come from it.Please help

does the stilo have a release button on the mechanism? my mechanism shut when the boot was open, jammed a screwdriver in there popped it out, all was well.
