General Powerflex bushes :D

After fitting my new shocks last week i realised the drivers side ball joint on the lower arm was on its way out .
Ever since its been knocking and banging so i ordered 2 new lower arms (one from bushboy) off ebay as i thought if im gonna do one side might as well do both !
It just so happened that i had a set of powerflex bushes in my shed from when i got my old imola abarth and never fitted them ! At work last night i was chatting to a work mate about it, and he helped me get the bushes out to fit the PF ones no fire or drilling or sawing used ! We made a tool that just pulled the bush out . :slayer:
Fitted new ones and this is how they look

i never did the fronts on mine, because when i got the arms, i didn't feel like ripping off perfectly good brand new bushes!

Yeah. I wish someone would make some with a replaceable ball joint: preferably adjustable for camber...........

well ive done the drivers side one .... forgot to get ball joint splitter :bang: but machine mart is only down the road

got to go to work at 2 so cant do other side today but will tomorrow if weather is ok
Already done the rears !!

Looks like you could do with getting some superflex generic ARB bushes on there as well

i got one from bush boy and one from a company that had a special deal on cost less then 40 quid for both arms

No, that was for me. Not to worry, I'll have to get the other one from Fluffy anyway, and the rears on Blue2 need doing first.
