General power steering stop leak ..

seen some stuff from america on sale here on flea bay it's not cheap is it worth a punt to cure my leak or does this stuff just cost cash ..

i tried the halfords stuff and it didnt work my marea still in the garage waiting for the steering rack got a call from the garage saying the steering rack to replace the other one is not the same so public transport to work doh:bang:

anyone know where i can get a steering rack for 2.4 jtd 130 hlx my cars stuck in the garage unable to find one at the moment the only option ive been given is a total refurb of the rack and return for £249 + vat

unable to find a replacement steering rack is the problem they dont make them anymore a refurb job seems to be the option a real pain

A new steering rack is orderable from Fiat the only drawback is the £929. Part no is 46445367

Hi guys got my marea 2.4jtd back on the road got a reconditioned steering rack fitted at me garage £484, track rod ends,labour,tracking included in price i havent got deep pockets anymore iam hoping this is the last problem for some time
