POWER STEERING LOSS
I have read some of the posts regarding loss of power steering, and as my battery was new last year don't think it can be that. It is an intermitent problem and happened again twice today. If not the battery what else could it be? Do I need to be worried and is it time to get rid of the car? I am new to this so please be kind.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your steering problem. We in the classic Panda section have very little to do with power steering compared to the Mk3 section. I'm assuming that it is a MK3 with electric assistance that you have and you've selected us by mistake. ;)

No problem. Maybe it is a good time to sell, then buy a classic Panda where you don't have to worry about such things going wrong. (y)

Or get one of each...? Or maybe two...? And a Punto...?

PS: Taking things back slightly on-topic... -- I have to say that the steering on Pippin is the nicest of all three cars. It's light; and it's direct.... The Punto and the Mk3 Panda feel slightly 'lifeless' (for want of a better word), in comparison....
