I have a Fiat Ducator 2.8 tdi Motorhome which has just returned from the garage after having a timing belt renewed.

Now I have noticed that the power steering top up bottle is bubbling rapidly. Is this the norm or is there now a problem somewhere?

Hoping someone could advise me as I have never experianced this before.

Or do you think that the garage has done something wrong.

What I write here could be total rubbish but worth a try.

1) check power steering fluid level - make sure not over filled
2) check for leaks of fluid from pump to rack to pump (there may be some cooler pipes in the loop)
3) start the engine and gently put the steering to full clockwise position and hold for 5 to 10 seconds and then slowly to full anticlock position and hold again. Now return to mid position (reason for doing this is some/most? systems self bleed air on full lock)
