General Power-steering fluid leak

Hi,

I own a 2000 model Fiat Palio 1.2 mpi 5 door.

It is leaking power steering fluid.

Are there specific seals that can be replaced or is this a sealed unit.

It is leaking from the actual steering rod area on the cam belt side of the motor. (Ie if you stand in front, on the left had side)

I replaced the cam belt a week or so ago and saw where it was leaking from whilst under the car...

Your assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply.

It is not leaking from the hoses but rather from the actual mechanism under the vehicle that is attached to the steering arms. It is comming from under the rubber "boots" that are fitted over the outer sides of the steering arm.

Should I just refit or tighten any hose-clamps that are fitted to this.

That's always the first action to take, tighten all the clamps you can find.
If it still leaks, you can try a leak stopper like "Leak lock" or similar.
