( 100 ELX Auto )
Doing 120 indicated on the autobahn the car started to jerk like it was running out of fuel, so I dropped down to 100 indicated. This was smooth for a while and then it jerked again so I dropped down to 90. No further problem. However if I planted my foot it would jerk.
Now the acceleration is flat, and sluggish. The car is not idling particularly smoothly any more.
Going back a bit before this, for two weeks after that very heavy rainfall the car, when switched on, would have 0s all over the gear indicator, the milometer/temp sensor and wouldn't track new miles. This seemed to fix itself.
Can anyone give me some tips for things to look for as I feel an impending breakdown is looming?
I'm a bit concerned now that they didn't do a proper job at the last service, so will be looking to replace sparks etc asap anyhow.
