Technical Poor signal on radio

I have a 2008 bravo 1.9 multijet 120 and get very bad signal on the radio. I've check connection at the back of the radio which is fine and checked the mast that seems fine. Any ideas???

Have you tried changing the aerial? My original one got eaten by monkies at a safari park. The replacement I bought from eBay is nowhere near as good as the original fiat part. Therefore is yours original?

I haven't no was hoping there might be something simple that didn't involve taking the roof lining down but it's not looking good!
