Technical pollen filter cover

Im on the hunt for the plastic pollen filter cover for a 2001 jtd multipla.Mine has blown off on the motorway (another fiat quality plastic extrusion mounted in the worst possible location) and was wondering if anybody has one for sale ,knows the price from fiat or knows who is scrapping a multipla in the northwest uk. Mine is beginning to go so did you find a solution. also is the filter meant to have a crack down the middle of it or is it just clumsy Vardy's again?

from Ruggero , - I would`nt worry about this cover, ours `blew off too!` Fiat`s trim levels are poor, as are their fixings! You should have no probs finding one , there must be scrap yards near you? - or if you`re really worried, make one up! - a piece of ally mesh will suffice. ATB Ruggero.

See `gazzauk` post. - the pollen filter does crack easily, - poor plastic I`m afraid! but it still works. Ruggero.

Mine blew off yesterday too. I'd like to get a replacement, anyone suggest where from? I tried the online shop link from this website but the part isn't listed.

Could go to a dealer I suppose.... last time I did I was just after the rubber gasket that goes under this pollen filter cover, and there didn't seem to be one on their parts database. Does the cover come with the gasket?

Either way, I'd like to find an online source for parts as my 2000 ELX is beginning to need them....

Hi gazzauk. My pollen filter cover disappeared on the A2! It wasn't the cover that was broken though, rather the plastic surround. I had to drill a couple of holes in my new one, through into plastic underneath and screw it down with a pair of little black self tappers. A few quid from the main dealers, as I recall mate. Oh and they couldn't supply a gasket. Wasn't listed!
