Having a problem removing the plastic side panel on the front tunnel that lets me get to the pollen filter. I know there is a guide on this but it just says to remove the panel. Problem is I can't understand how the two fasteners pull away from their mountings and I feel I am going to break them if I simply tug hard on the panel. Can anyone tell me how to do it correctly please.

Hi, took mine off some time back. Can remember that there were a couple of screw first to undo, and then gently pull the cover towards you. I was also afraid of breaking it but eventually got it unclipped. Good luck.
They look like screws with allen socket heads but when you turn them they don't screw out but just revolve.
Mime are the plastic bung type with the hole in the middle that goes in about 15mm. They're a poor design as the bung part just has serrated edges that push on ok, but not designed to come off - there is no thread as such. Only thing to do is put a screwdriver in the hole and wriggle it side to side (!) while edging it outwards
