Technical Please Enter Security Code (Radio/Sat Nav)

Had a little interesting experience yesterday.

When I started the car the Radio/Sat Nav system was asking for a security code.

I ignored the request and drove off. Then stopped and switched of at the local shop to buy some stuff. When I started again all was fine. Several stop/starts later all was still fine.

I'm not concerned unless this becomes a regular event. What I'm assuming is that the Body Computer and Radio/Sat Nav failed to correctly exchange details and I guess there is no "retry" written into the code.

Anyway, if this happens to you then my suggestion is to just stop and power off the ignition, wait a moment and retry again.

As I have the code stored on my mobile phone I could have attempted to enter the code but felt happier in doing an ignition cycle rather than pandering to the glitch, screwing up and then getting locked out

like on my add yes it wanted 3 times in one day and after 2 days it asked again.just i wanted to ask another question/s to you if its ok..when you swing the steering wheel makes scraping noise /maybe you know i had brakes noise problem they put modified pads but now its grinding and when push hard for stop makes like suspension noise.Imad mileage but bought the car 30/may/2015 and since first day i had lots of problems.and now people getting same problem/s like mines..
