Playlists on USB Stick

My problem is my blue and me wont recognise my playlists on my USB stick. I've transferred playlists from windows media player in wpl format (all songs are mp3) onto my usb stick but after blue and me finishes building the library, it still says there are no playlists. Any help?

it makes sense that it should be in a windows format but I also cant get it to work or find any info for that matter on playlists
