Hi plastic drivers door lock damaged and kept falling off. Took it to main dealer in South Shields. They said to fit a new one they could have to take the door card off, which would not be a quick fix. I did some online research and found a way to change the cover in 10 minutes. Go to the edge of the door and you will see a rubber grommet in line with the lock. Remove this and you will find a T20 hex screw turn it clock wise until you can feel the lock loosen. Pull the lock out put on the new plastic cover mine cost £28 push the lock back in tighten the hex screw anti-clockwise job done. Replace rubber grommet.
note that the loosening and the tightening of the hex screw is the opposite to normal. the handle should be in the open position while carrying out this task. I jammed Sponge in the handle to keep it open.
