does anyoe know if you can get the viper for the 1.8 hlx? if yes any idea on a price?

Don't know if you can get one but it is normaly around £250 for the kit I think.

thing is iv just bought a k&n kit and then read the post claiming that theryre crap, i havent fitted it yet so if its best to change then i can?
i dont really want to go to the hassle i fthe k&n is just as good as piper's equivelant.
ps anyone here have 1.8 with k&n: if yes isw it like like an egg shape rather than round?

I was going a bit OTT when I said that. What I should have said was "that compared to Pipercross they are C!"p"
I've got a couple of mates who have viper induction kits and they really have made a big difference speed wise. Also you get the famous pipercross grunt they sound great. I'm sure you know the noise I mean.

Si is correct.
Usual situation boyz n' girls. I dont think that you can buy a specific kit for the bravo. But they do universal Vipers. So measure your throttle body and ask Pipercross if they do one of that size. They certainly do one for the 1.6 size throttle body as I've already enquired.
Oh and no worries Rob just bell me when ever buddy.

We had a-look and the K&N what fits the HGT and 1.8 is the same part number that also fits to the 1.6 so in theory the piper X that fits on to the HGT should fit on to the 1.6. The lad in the shop is going to look in to this for me, I will let you know what I find out.

the k&n i have bought says it fits onto the 1.4 1.6 1.8 and the 2.0, i have seen on motorsportworld.com that they list a viper for the 2.0 , i just wasnt sure whether the filter was positioned in the same way as the hlx? iv spoke to my mate in halfords though and he said no probs about swapping for the piper if it fits

I've seen the throttle body for the 1.4s and there is no way that it is the same size as the 1.6/1.8.
Certainly the 1.6 and the 1.8 are very similar but the 1.4s throttle body is tiny??
