Here's a quick pic of mine, 16" alloys, sedici tail lights 60% tint all around, clear side repeaters. Used to be lowered w/ sedici sideskirts, sold the skirts, going to lower it again perhaps in the next few days

Personally I would get a load of neon on the underside of the car, slam it 100mm, big set of alloys, red pin stripe, 5" rear exhaust, kick ass sound system with enough power to blow you ear drums, full tints all round, set of racing seats up front with full race harness, drop in a Volumex engine into the bay, flare the arches, get a nice bad ass bodykit, put a bonnet vent in, maybe some vents on the sides of the wings, replace all exterior trim with chrome bits......

looks good mate here is a few pics of my teapot. Not done much replaced alloys and fitted induction kit also had the cat removed. hope to lower soon when the funds allow me to.

missing 3 others, and another 8 of the other wheels, needless to say I dont replace them, the tyres are on and off a little more than the average car. Would really like some race wheels but the cost is large as I'd want 12 of them, then I end up with 12 tipo wheels doing nothing.

sedicivalvoe your red Tipo is gorgeous. What's it like to drive?

I honestly believe less is more when it comes to 'adding' to a car. There is a place for ICE mods and way-out graphics and OTT alloys and stuff of course, but for me a top-of-the-range (at the time) car, Tipo or not is a good starting point.

A 16v Tipo has interested me for a while and since selling my fantastic Citroen BX 16v I think I might be hankering after a bit of performance: So, as far as I'm concerned, sporty styling as created by the original designers/manufacturers (skirts, spoilers, wheels and the like) are not always just aesthetic (in that they will help separate the car from it's 'lesser' stablemates, thus justifying the price lol!) but can add to the driving experience too. IMHO if a car is modded it has to elevate the car beyond where it started off, so critically, unless the performance and/or comfort are improved, what's the point of glueing an after-market spoiler?

So, bottom line, how much more can be extracted from a Tipo? Or is the 16v plenty good enough, but would benefit from some tweaks in other areas?

The potential is there with a Tipo 16v to go to 180 NA or go 2.0 16v turbo and who knows where the limit is. The issue now is getting one with a good shell. The years have not been kind to tipo underbellys.

My want for the Tipo spoiler is that they originally came with them; I used to have a TD with one; and I think it finishes the end of the roof perfectly.
