Hi Guys, well the wife has thrown some water over Pippa so here goes. Not the prettiest but likely to be the first of many - no road tax here!!!

I might be wrong, but as far as I'm aware the road tax is calculated in to petrol price. Plus most of the motorways are tolled.
Black is one of best colour for 2wd panda. The car look perfect.

Unlike in this country where you pay a fixed road tax but the petrol isn't taxed that hi..........haaaang on a minute!!
Car looks good, from one side;) The other's got potential. Sure it'll be great!

Re road tax - up until about yr 2000 in France there was a "Vignette" which was an annual payment based on the size and type of vehicle, fortunately that was scrapped.

Whether it was rolled-up into the fuel price I couldn't say. All I know is that today, diesel is 1.31€ (£1.09) and 95 unleaded is about 1.50€ (£1.25).

For me the biggest advantage is for multiple vehicle owners like us, with cars and bikes.

Cheers
Dave
