Just got back from picking up the Panda after its 12k mile service. Rang around a few local(ish) dealers ahead of time and Pewshams quoted well below the competition, even taking into account the 40 mile trip to get there.
Dropped in at 8am and asked if there was any chance the car could be ready for lunch time as I needed it in the afternoon. No problem, sir, it'll be ready for 1pm. Grabbed the courtesy car and headed to work and when I arrived there was a voicemail waiting for me: 9:10am Service complete, car is ready to be collected.
Went in to collect it at lunch time and had a quick nose round the car before going in to pay - everything looked good, the book was stamped, the car had been cleaned, the climate/vents and radio were all as I left them and only 4 miles had been put on it since I dropped it off. And the icing on the cake was that the bill was £25 cheaper than they'd originally quoted.
The clonking (from the rear suspension?) also appears to have been resolved without me mentioning it.
