well, the weigh that much and put some really slow engines in them :p

the doors may look cool, but take an age to close, not heard many horror stories though :D

and they do have a changeable interior so you dont get bored of the same colour.

wonder if they have sorted out the dodgy pedal arrangement as well

You can just guess and realise that down the line those doors are gonna stick shut or open, not sure which is worse but I'd avoid personally.

when i see a 1007 i point and laugh.

the main flaw in its design is the idea behind the doors. they are desinged so you can fit in tight paring spaces, but that idea ignores the fact that the cars next to you wont have the same style of doors so the owners of those cars will have to damage your car trying to squeeze though a tiny gap. DUH!

its fine for ethel when she pops into town to pick up some broccoli, but its not a proper car to be used on main roads. you need to be able to keep up with traffic to leave the town centre, and the 1007 definately cant do that.

At the Peugeot dealership I work at (We also do Kia) we have sold about 4, yes 4. The doors are powered, but can be over ridden should the motors fail. What you have to remember is that these are built on 206 floor pans, They are tall and heavy but the suspension has not been uprated to accommadate the extra weight. The engines are , well hopeless is a word 1.4TU (8v gutless o-matic), and the Autobox isn't an Auto, its an electric manual which is jerky as hell (Similar to Honda's I-shift).
