omg it takes 10.5secs to hit 60. if you dont hear from me ever again after tomorrow it is because i have died from boredom somewhere in hull.

i know its not my car, but i still went outside 10mins ago to have a touch and feel :D

i love the interior, its really really good. i'm actually shocked at how good. you can thump the dash and it makes a good thud noise. i think this is the first french car that has ever passed the jug thump test.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

ive seen soo many children fail that test over the years:p

The 308 is a heavy beast. The XSE Turbo (150bhp 1.6L) I drove a while ago weighs 1400kg's! It went all right though, and it's very refined as well. Not sure I can wear the looks though.

yeah i dont think anyone would dare suggest it looks good, but a peugeot hasnt looked good for a long time. i think PSG have been so impressed that citroen survived without selling one good looking car in 30 years so they thought peugeot should try it too.

The thing is, they look quite nice inside. It's just when you step outside and look at the thing and say "What have they done with the front?!?". I do that sometimes with my 207. I think they need to go back to Pininfarina for their inspiration.

the funny thing is it was the opposite with pugs of the 80s and 90s. the 306 is the best example, it looks great from the outside, it drives wonderfully, the engine range was good, but the interior was way behind the competition. i'm sure i would have owned a 306 instead of a bravo if the interior wasnt so bad.

i had a 57 reg 207 vti its w*&k from standing start but once its goin and you put your foot down on the top roads it goes exactly were you want to go 1.6 vti 120bhp is the same engine as the mini cooper because peugeot now use bmw engines across there sporty range. i had for 6 months then some chavy 17 yr old lad who had just past his test that day crashed his banger of a polo into my 207 oh and a suzuki swift sport writing all 3 cars off whilst my 207 and the swift was parked up outside my house LAME driver as for the looks i thought it looked the dogs dangalies lol121907145538.jpg[/ATTACH]DSCF1560.JPG i am now the proud owner of a 08 reg black gp T-jet i got the keys friday and i have now done 600 miles an lovein every mile so it says it all really lol

I work for a Peugeot dealership and use a number of cars for trips to the Peugeot training centre. The 1.4 207 is a guttless POS but at least it doesn't understeer off the road as soon as it sees a corner coming, the 308 is awful for understeer!

I was impressed with the 308 1.6 HDi, £55 to fill up from empty with the oily stuff and with some over enthusiastic driving managed to get 600 miles with a 1/4 of a tank left!!!

If I did more than 12k miles a year it would make sense.

The front grills is the Peugeot corparate image, and its suppopsed to resemble a feline/cat, but it looks more like a startled frog!!!
