isn't the 309 a saloon 205? forgot about 405 Mi16, 106 tends to be more chav than performance, but then i suppose lots are raced competitively, presumably by people with very small feet lol. ok i retract my statement and admit i was wrong. there's more performance peugeots than the 205, however can 206s be one? probably not with a heavy metal folding roof....

maybe not the CC but there is the 206GTI which whips a 205GTI (1.9 as well) as proved on TG many years ago

i'd imagine if you'd add a few corners the 205 would beat it, a drag race is only one test of performance.

206 sounds great for what she wants, well into the production so any major roof problems will be ironed out. The french seem to make fairly dependable cars, although lost it a bit with the 307.

I have a secret like for the latest MX-5 too but wouldnt admit it in public.

Dont forget the 106/205(euro spec)/306 Rallye, all legends and unfortunately french.
