Petrol Tank?

Ok as posted on the other thread the GT has a petrol leak

It has the old metal tanks, was gonna replace it with a plastic one but have a question...

Are the petrol tanks across the range all the same?
As can get one off a 60s (£30).

or did each model have a different tank ?

I think they were the same, but not 100 % certain, they may have varied depending on what fuel pump was used. That said, all fiat petrol pumps on fiats seem interchangeable, so that may not be the case.

Have a look on shop4parts at the part numbers for different engines and that should give a big clue
