passed its mot and another mod done

well it had its mot friday at 10 o'clock and i sat around biting my nails waiting the result and by 1 i was able to collect it with not even an advisory so another 12 months motoring
and while i was away for the 3 days i had a little play aswell

front bumper, looking good andy! did you diy the spray job? if so it looks very good....

yes stephen it was a diy between me and my uncle we spent ages in doing it if i had taken it to a bodyshop they wanted about £80-120 just to spray it.
if i would of had more time we would of spent longer rubbing down and filling but i only had 3 days away so we just done a fairly quick job in rubbing down and then spraying i think it was about 8 coats of paint and 6 coats of laquar to get that lovely shinny finish.
just got to wait a good few weeks for it to harden properly as it was done in his garage with no heaters or anything then i can give it a good polish with the rest of the car
and the bumper was from a mk1 so the centre grill was black

thanks it has come out really well
i have even connected everything as well so it all actually works rather than just for cosmetics so working fogs and headlight washer im well pleased

Glad you got it all wired up, I got 1 month till my MOT now and I have a feeling I will have to do a bit to her this time....
