Technical Parcel Shelf Banging

Anyone know how i can stop my parcel shelf from banging and rattling on a mk2 ?

make its not snapped anywhere on the corners and make sure you have the peices of rubber that it rests on
mine was banging due to one of the rubbers being missing so i pinched one of my mams 500 which solved it

There are 4 little rubbers that sit on the ledges near the rear speakers
If there missing it'll bang

Also - there are 2 rubber things on the boot trim - this too helps prevent banging

All easily availible from scrap yards for pennies

Scraps of foam rubber, weatherstripping and other like stuff can be use to stop all manner of rattles and squeaks including those annoying ones around the dash.

Universal D Shaped Door seal by the meter would work as well

You'd only need like 1M Max....
Enough to cut several strips...
