There are several types of panda roof rails/ bars/ racks etc.
For now lets just clarify the mmeaning.
Roof rails - longintudinal bars running along both roof edges
Roof bar aka. crossbars are bars perpendicular to longintudinal median axis of the car.
Roof rack is a combination of both above but in one piece.
4x4's had no roof rack from new.
Sisley's had dedicated roofrack as accessories - no holes driling.
2wd pandas in CLX trim had the roof rails fitted as standard (iirc) - holes drilled.
Later types of roofracks - introduced past '96 in Europe.
Or you can try fiat uno mk1 roof racks. I read some reviews on german panda group ,that they were also offered on their market with late mk1 4x4 panda. They are rust free= made of oxydated alloy ,look cool and are durable base for further own roof-rack making
I have a Sisley roof rack which is complete, but rusty on a couple of the cross pieces. I was thinking about getting a new cross piece from one of lukmek's contacts in Italy. Let me know if you're interested to help me make my mind up
