I have a Panda 4x4 2015, with heated front seats. I have checked every thing out. the 2 relays are in the boot side well, I have no power to the switch connection on the relay. Does anyone know were the fuse location is, The web advice does not give answers to the proper location. Thanks

There are two fuse boxes — one beside the battery under the bonnet for the ‘bigger’ stuff and one accessed via hatch in the back of the glovebox for the rest. I’ll find you a diagram in a mo (the one from the car’s handbook… assuming you’ve not looked there already?)

Also, I’ll check what mine do. The heated front windscreen has a clever voltage-sensing relay that only lets it operate with the engine running and once the alternator has raised the battery voltage high enough (so it won’t turn on immediately after starting the engine in some cases). Not sure if the seats are the same.

(I didn’t know there were relays in the boot…)

Hmm - the handbook isn’t much help either!
[edit - but, see next reply :) ]

Here’s the listings for the two fuse boxes, and a diagram of the layout of the one inside the car. (Ignore the description of it being by the steering column - in a RHD car it’s behind the glovebox through a little hatch). The one under my bonnet has many more fuses than in the listing :)

You might have to just check each one in turn! The ones labelled +30 is a fuse for circuits that are ‘live’ without the ignition on, and those labelled +15 are live with the key turned.

The cover of the one under the bonnet slides up after loosening the screw. Note: the screw is not ‘captive’ (don’t drop it). The cover identifies the layout but not the function of each fuse or relay (‘T’ = relay)

At the back of the glovebox is a door that opens by pulling the lower end of the tab towards you. The yellow ‘thing’ in that lid is a tool for pulling the fuses out with.

This might be more helpful! From Haynes AutoFix online manual

So yes, the under-bonnet fuse box, fuse number 20 - which is hidden out of sight under the big relay (R1 in the diagram). That probably just pulls out…
Thank you all for the info. The fuse you pointed to below the relay is the supply power for the seats. I only had a 10a fuse to try it but it has blown, just ordered a 15a to replace. Thanks again

The original would have been a 15A (blue) fuse... (according to Haynes)

A little update: I've just spotted there is also a fuse in the box behind the glovebox that is also labelled as including the Heated Seats -- fuse 49 here. But this also covers parts of the dashboard, the interior light and so on. which I guess are all working ok?

Thanks again. Fuse 49 is not large enough. as the fuse in the engine compartment that supplys power to the relays in the boot is a 15a, I tried a 10a ( this is all I had ) and it blew it. just ordered 15a fuses. I looks like the one 15a fuse covers both seats. After all this I removed the front seat and did some polarity checks and it looks like the heater element is broken

Just an update on the heated seat I took the seat out of the car now I have got a 15a fuse. The issue is the plug connector that is under the seat connecting the heating element to the wire that then connects to the other plug at the front of the seat. I had an intermittent connection, could be due to the seat being moved forward and backward. I have bridged out the plug and socket with soldered connection. Now all working fine. May check the drivers seat at some point. Thanks all for your help
