Technical Panda 4x4 Dimmed Lights

Hi guys!

I have a 1990 LHD panda 4x4, the dimmed headlights have stopped working for some reason, the bulbs and fuses are fine, full beams and running/parking lights work fine. I've looked inside the light switch on the dash and that looks ok, I havent looked behind it though. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There is a dim dip resistor (curly wire) at the front of the bonnet. That would be my first check

Thanks, I don't seem to have one though, the wires come straight from through the firewall

If you check the first stop for fault finding sticky by Dragon Man there should be everything you need. On the lights link the first picture shows the earths and the resistor.

Ok so I don't have one like that, mine looks like this, any suggestions?

Where is your car originally from? Not all markets had the dim dip system.

If its left hand drive I suspect it wont have one, as far as I know only UK RHD came with one?

Correct,
Op referred to Low beam, only the high/low switch on steering column might be in fault.
