Hi people just woundering if anyone have changed the panel air filter to a for example k&n panel filter. Was woundering if anything changes on performance. Also where is the best place to get them from.

Thanks mark

Hi Mark,

I got a BMC panel filter for my 100, cant say I noticed to much of a difference maybe slight difference in pick up. I got it from ebay there are a few guy on there that sell them, I found if you message them direct and ask if they can do you a better price then the buy it now they normally do it if you deal direct!

Hope that helps!

K&N air filter is fitted to my 100HP. Thought it worthwhile as pretty cheap and lifetime fit. Might be a slight improvement in performance and consumption, but it's not noticeable. Combined with an exhaust with better flow, then I'd expect a difference.

Got a K&N flat panel replacement in mine and can't say that it's made a noticeable difference. +1 on Dan Friel's comment that the lifetime fit is a nice perk though, as long as you maintain it properly.

Pipercross in mine and tbh its made no difference to the car may decide to upgrade to a cone filter in the future

but for 35 pound i cannot complain!

Also got greenstuff pads on the front they make a difference so when yours need replacing its worth upgrading they are 44 pound from Ebc brake shop online :)

They do green, yellow and red. If I remember rightly green is road, yellow is fast road and red is race. I have heard that the red pads only work when really hot so arent suitable for road use. Personally I would think that green pads are all you need for the 100HP as its not a very heavy or quick car.

Agreed. Greenstuff is all you need on the Panda, perfect for small / light cars. And fitted to my car.

Agreed with Dan (again)! I've run my 100HP, with stock brake setup, at a few track days and it coped perfectly well. More than enough stopping power - the car isn't that quick nor heavy, remember.

I had the yellow stuff made as a custom order. Theyve been on the car for just over a year, about 14,000 miles and still have plenty of life left in them.
Green are road
Yellow are track and road
red are fast road (for cars over 200bhp)
Blue are race only

I paid £280 for my exhaust, magnetti marrelli group N centre pipe and ragazzon Group N backbox
