HI ALL JUST AQUIRED A SECOND CAR ITS AN ALFA 155 2.5 V6. iTS IN IMMACULATE CONDITION EXCEPT FOR THE PAINT WHICH, UNDERSTANDABLY, AFTER 10 YEARS IS LOOKING A LITTLE FADED.
nOW I HAVE HEARD OF THE AUTOGLYN STUFF BUT NOT REALLY SURE WHAT TO DO WITH IT. cAN ANYBODY GIVE ME A GOOD BREAKDOWN OF WHAT TO DO AND WITH WHAT TO MAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR SHINE AGAIN LIKE NEW (OR EVEN BETTER IF WHAT I HEAR IS TRUE)
MANY THANKS ANDY

first turn the caps lock off. AUTOGLYM is just polish if the paint is actually ruined then you will have to repaint it also its not a bravo so not really worthy of being on this site even if it is from italy. i would suggest you look on some valeting and detailing forums

If its non metallic paint then try t-cut then use a good polish. If it's too bad for T-cut then try a buffing compound, but go easy with it, then t-cut then polish. As long as it's just faded this should bring it up but if it's red then be prepared for this to happen again in a few months time.

Faded paint isnt so common on metallic paint, if it's faded and dull then it may need a respray, try metallic t-cut and then polish but do NOT use buffing compound.

@ ash as i said in my post it is a SECOND car i also own a fiat brava but i dont expect that matters.I really dont think i am gonmna ask for advice on here anymore if thats the attitude. Oh and if i want to type all in caps lock why should that bother you. Why are you being so petty i think its about time you grew up.

S'ok, I'm sure no harm was meant on either part. Let's all just be friendly :)
